Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KTC)

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KTC) has 34 radio repeaters in the state.  KEWS provides the link from Frankfort TOC to all 34 remote repeaters. KTC also has twelve highway district offices.

The TOC is organized to provide the Secretary of the KTC with the necessary staff, facilities, and equipment to provide an appropriate response to traffic and weather conditions in accordance with established procedures. The TOC staff will assume administrative control and responsibility to receive, evaluate, coordinate, prepare and dispatch responses for events related to Kentucky travel or weather advisory activities.
