Fish & Wildlife

The Department of Fish & Wildlife has their main radio console in Frankfort at the Salato Wildlife Center ().  KEWS provides radio links from their console to 31 radio base-stations throughout the Commonwealth.

With nine district offices in the state, the Fish & Wildlife Law Enforcement officers depend on these base stations to be operational during hunting, fishing and boating seasons.  Fish & Wildlife contracts  Frankfort Communications to troubleshoot and maintain each base station.
